An independent directory of medical care in Bali. We compare providers, we do not treat patients, and no facility can pay to appear or rank here.
What We Do — and Deliberately Don’t
We compare Bali’s hospitals, clinics and specialists on accreditation, capability, cost and location, and we run a free concierge that shortlists facilities for your case. We do not provide medical care, give medical advice, take bookings on behalf of any facility, or accept payment for placement.
If you want a recommendation you can act on, that is what the concierge is for. It is free because nobody pays us for it.
Our Editorial Standards
The rules we hold ourselves to, and which you can hold us to.
Primary sources first
Accreditation is checked against the JCI and KARS registers, not repeated from a hospital’s own marketing, and we record the date we checked.

We publish the international-patient rate, because that is the one you will be charged — and we say when a figure is a range rather than a quotation.

Where a claim cannot be confirmed, the page says so rather than presenting it as fact. Coverage is thinnest in the north and east of the island.
Corrections are published
If a reader or a facility shows us we are wrong, we change the page and note that it changed. Corrections from the facilities themselves get no special treatment.

How a Page Gets Written
Every directory page on this site goes through the same four steps.

Identify what a patient actually needs to decide
Accreditation, emergency capability, who the clinician is, what it costs, and how far away it is. Not what the facility wants to promote.

Verify against primary sources
Registers for accreditation, published tariffs for price, registration records for clinicians. Anything that fails verification is marked or omitted.

Write the trade-off, not the pitch
Every option has a downside. A page that lists only strengths is marketing, and we would rather say a hospital is cheaper but harder to navigate in English.

Re-check on a cycle, and after any change
An accreditation lapse, a department closing or a change of ownership triggers a review rather than waiting for the next cycle.

No. We are independent of every facility we list. No hospital or clinic can pay for a listing, a higher position or a recommendation.
Not from the facilities, and not from commission on your treatment. That constraint is deliberate — the moment a hospital pays us, the comparison stops being worth reading.
No. We give directory information so you can choose where to be seen. Diagnosis and treatment decisions belong to a qualified clinician who has examined you.
By whether we can verify the basics: a current licence, identifiable clinicians, and confirmable pricing. We add facilities we find ourselves as well as ones that approach us.
Message us with the page. If a price, accreditation date or clinician detail has changed we will correct it and note the change.
